MEKONG DELTA ISLANDS SUNSET TOUR

A wonderful 1 day trip from Saigon to visit the Nature’s award winning Tien Giang Resort in the Mekong Delta on Thoi Son Island. Depart from Ho Chi Minh City destined for My Tho city and experience the beautiful island traveling through the renowned Mekong River on a boat. This location is approximately 70 kilometers South of Ho Chi Minh City which takes about 75 minutes. Tien Giang is known as the “Anterior River”. Tien Giang resort has has rich aquatic supply including freshwater fish, brackish fish, and saltwater fish. Some of special fruits are Trung Luong plum, Vinh Kim star-apple, Cai Be guava, sweet mango, rambutan, and thick-skinned orange. The region is
famous as a large rice growing area. It produces about half of the total of Vietnam’s rice output.
Vietnam is the second largest exporter of rice globally after
Thailand. In fact, the delta
produces more rice than Korea and Japan altogether. The Mekong Delta has recently been dubbed as a ‘biological treasure trove’. Over 1,000 new species have been discovered in
